Marrakesh was wonderful as always and although we’re always there to work, we managed to sneak out of the city for a day. November is the perfect time to fly to Morocco as the weather is still really lovely so I got a bit of a thermal shock after landing in Zurich on Wednesday night… Here are 3 things making me happy:
Really like that picture (the museum was unfortunately closed that day but it is on my to-do list for next trip in spring!)
Loved this newly opened restaurant in Gueliz
And finally, Marie-Claire France interviewed me for their special Switzerland last month!!! Full article (in French) here
I wish you all a wonderful weekend!
This week was crazy busy (what else is new?)… I got a new super exciting project in my hometown Zurich to remodel a space that is going to be an art gallery, I met with another new super nice couple to redo their kitchen (#ihavethisthingwithremodellingkitchens), I need to redo a hair dresser studio in Geneva and I have a gigantic install in Lausanne next week, no biggie! I couldn’t be happier though because I get to do what I love and people apparently love my work so it can’t get better than that!
Here are 3 things making me happy:
Even though I only stayed for the afternoon, it was nice to be back in Zurich for a few hours…
We finally photographed #projectamazingcountrysidekitchen this week so stay tuned for a full before/after reveal next week!
I need to get these beautiful flamingo fabric napkins, I can’t get them out of my head!
Happy weekend people!
This project was very special to me. When this client contacted me, she had lost her husband one year ago and she couldn’t go back into this bedroom by herself so she kept sleeping on the sofa in her living room instead… She was super open minded about what it should look like, she just wanted a radical change to make her feel good again in the room.
Here is how it looked like before:
The floor was in really good shape and she wanted to keep the bed that her husband had built so I had it painted in white, the walls are a soft pearl white and I added a lot of feminine accessories and new room for storage.
She now sleeps in her bedroom again and I’m feeling particularly touched to have been able to help her through this difficult phase and contribute to this new start…
