happy friday

This week was crazy busy (what else is new?)… I got a new super exciting project in my hometown Zurich to remodel a space that is going to be an art gallery, I met with another new super nice couple to redo their kitchen (#ihavethisthingwithremodellingkitchens), I need to redo a hair dresser studio in Geneva and I have a gigantic install in Lausanne next week, no biggie! I couldn’t be happier though because I get to do what I love and people apparently love my work so it can’t get better than that!

Here are 3 things making me happy:

Even though I only stayed for the afternoon, it was nice to be back in Zurich for a few hours…

We finally photographed #projectamazingcountrysidekitchen this week so stay tuned for a full before/after reveal next week!

I need to get these beautiful flamingo fabric napkins, I can’t get them out of my head!

Happy weekend people!

happy friday

Happy Friday! I really enjoyed this week, on Monday we celebrated Swiss National Day with friends, then my parents came for a couple of days and I somehow managed to do some work and start to get ready for my US trip (leaving for Florida on Tuesday!!!)…

Here are 3 things making me happy:

swiss national day

It is Swiss National Day on Monday so we are heading to the eastern part to spend the long weekend with friends. Since they live pretty close to the German border, we will most likely go to Constance for a coffee tomorrow afternoon and since the weather seems to be pretty cooperative, we planned to have a barbecue every night!

Here are 3 things making me happy:

Happy 725th birthday Switzerland!

severine piller design

Loving these blue pillows I scored on sale for our office bed sofa…

new helmet

Choosing a new helmet is like choosing your life partner. It has to be comfortable, be stylish, look good and meet the safety requirements (ha!), fell in love with this one from Kappa!

I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

all you need is cake

I already talked about my friend L.’s project in my last Happy Friday post. She has always been extremely talented in baking and creating the most exquisite macarons and cupcakes and I am very happy she decided to open her cooking and baking school in Zürich. She offers classes where you can discover classic, salty or Swiss cupcakes, revisited macarons and many more delicious recipes…

More information about the classes, the blog and the online shop on her (lovely) website

cool places : the nevai in verbier switzerland

In Patois, the ancient Swiss language once widely spoken in Verbier, the word Nevaï means snow – now, the renowned resort of the same name is equated with such words as luxury and alpine-chic. Situated at an altitude of 1500 metres, Verbier is surrounded by more than 400 km of slopes for skiers of all levels. Its boutiques, restaurants and world famous après-ski nightlife have made the gorgeous village one of the most exclusive and exciting European ski destinations with Nevaï as one of its most important trendsetters. Just in case you were searching a place to go for your next ski holidays…
