I’m really excited to travel to the US from 3 weeks on Tuesday and although it is going to be work work work (we have to inventory everything and offload a 20ft container, no biggie),  I can’t wait to show our new products and be back in New York for the NYNOW fair!

Happy Fri-yay people! I’m so happy to finally be home this weekend to charge batteries before a hectic month coming up! We’re starting demolition of a kitchen I’m designing on Wednesday + a lot to do with atelierBOEMIA (we are now in a hundred shops in the US!) and we also have to squeeze in a trip to Marrakesh in the next couple of weeks… so yeah, busy but that’s how I love it so I’m not complaining!

Here are 3 things making me happy:

Finally made Hawaiian tuna poke that I have tried in Florida for the first time back in August. Super simple, super delicious, this recipe is just perfect and healthy!

closet

I re-arranged my closet last Sunday, it now looks organized and I finally have an overview of all the clothes/shoes/purses I have (way too much stuff but I donated a good portion of clothes I haven’t been wearing in a long time)…

Happy Friday! I really enjoyed this week, on Monday we celebrated Swiss National Day with friends, then my parents came for a couple of days and I somehow managed to do some work and start to get ready for my US trip (leaving for Florida on Tuesday!!!)…

My go-to breakfast/lunch avocado toast! Avocado, lime, coriander and fresh bred… perfection!

Is there anything better than a popsicle with alcohol in the summer?! I found this great recipe on French by DesignFrench by Design

What you need :

  • 3/4 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup of lime juice
  • 2/3 cup of soda water
  • 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 3 tablespoons of white rum
  • a few slices of lime to decorate your popsicle – optional

Steps :

  • In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar to boil, mix well, until sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Pour mixture in a blender, then add the rum, the mint leaves, soda water, lime juice.
  • Pour the mixture in a popsicle mold. Add the optional sliced pieces of lime to decorate. Don’t forget to insert the popsicle sticks!
  • Let in the freezer for 8 to 10 hours.

pea & coconut gazpacho

I saw a pea recipe in a magazine a couple of weeks ago and loved the idea to use peas (I never eat peas) and because it is warm already, I wanted to do something fresh… This super simple no-cooking recipe is just perfect!

Pea & coconut gazpacho

For 4 person you will need

300gr of fresh or frozen peas (I used frozen ones)

a can of coconut milk

3dl of hot vegetable broth

curry powder, salt, pepper, olive oil

Mix your peas with the coconut milk and broth until it is smooth. Add curry powder, salt and pepper to taste. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours and sprinkle some olive oil on top when serving… voilà, can’t get easier than that!
