Mini Rose apple pies
You will need (for about 7-8 mini-pies)
1 roll of puff pastry
5-6 apples (thinly sliced)
1/2 a lemon juice
salted caramel sauce (I was lazy so I used the one I get in France in a tube… you can also use regular caramel sauce)
Start by tossing the apple slices in the lemon juice (this will prevent them to turn brown), set aside.
Cut your puff pastry into 6-7cm strips. Place the apple slices (overlapping each other) and roll. Place the little pies into the muffin tin to keep it tight.
Place in the lower part of your oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Sprinkle with powder sugar et voilà!
