I can’t believe  it’s been 2 1/2 weeks already since we came back, our trip to Koh Samui was the perfect mix of fun, laziness and going around discovering the island…

We checked in at the Beach Republic hotel that I can really recommend, super friendly staff, cool concept, great spacious rooms and an unbelievable brunch on Sundays. The only downside is the beach, no waves and 40c warm…

Chaweng beach, the most crowded but also the most beautiful beach with white sand and unbelievable colors…

We stayed on the island for 12 days, I was afraid I might get bored (the main road to circle the island is 50km long…) but I was totally wrong. We rented a scooter and drove on every road, street and path to fully explore Koh Samui. Although it is a pretty small island, there are tons of nice places to discover.

To summarize, north of Lamai and the northern coast are the best spots. The other beaches often have low tide and are pretty rocky. We were lucky as it only rained twice in 2 weeks and when it did, we hit one of the best spots for spa/relaxation and massage HEAVEN…
