“My philosophy is: every day’s a new day”. This is how Andy Warhol described the production of prints carried out – mostly – by the assistants of the Factory but revised by the artist himself who, at times, as his signature trait, used to apply diamond dust. “Andy Warhol’s Stardust”, the exhibition hosted at Museo del Novecento in Milan from April 5th to September 8th, is, not only a tribute to the sparkly appearance of some of his works, but also to the favourite celebrities much loved by the Pop Art genius. Curated by Laura Calvi, the exhibition is a journey through Warhol’s artistic career through 95 prints that are part of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch collection.
